Audi denied suggestions that its new A1 entry-premium car is losing sales because it is priced too high. Audi dealers and industry observers believe the A1 is failing to attract an expected rush of customers because it costs too much for its target group of young people, according to Automobilwoche. The A1's starting price is 15,800 euros ($20,873) in Germany.
Maserati Quattroporte will be the big seller in India
It’s not a surprise that Maserati has announced it’s going to enter the marketplace in India, very sensibly in partnership with Indian luxury retailer the Shreyans Group, who also import Ferrari. After all, just about every other car maker is rushing headlong to the sub-continent to cash-in on India’s booming economy and Maserati wants a piece of the action.
